#summer finally

Going to be rewatching this show this summer because I absolutely love them all! Summer is off to a great start!

The third day of summer vacation and a very special day for all the people who live in the same country as me as today we celebrate our countries birthday. That's right today is the first of July and therefore Canada Day. Since I was home alone all day after my dad and brother left for the cottage at noon I didn't have any plans to go watch fireworks or hangout with friends. Instead today was a nice wind down day where I can relax and do a little bit of cleaning and just all asleep watching tv. However a like 23:00 I'm lying on my couch in my living room when I hear this sound. To me it sounded like someone was playing basketball on my driveway and I have a basketball net out there so it wasn't that much of a stretch however it turned out to be fireworks from who knows where. Also the very Canadian thing I did today was binge watch the first and only season on Degrassi: Next Class on Canadian Netflix. To be completely honest the show wasn't that great but it kept me busy for four hours. I finally decided to go to bed at some point and turned off all the lights and crawled under the covers and just listened to the fireworks before passing out. A little disappointed with my friends who all got together to watch fireworks and hangout but didn't mention it to me or invite me. I was a little bothered but oh well whatever. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
