God don't remind me, that gave me chills and made me curl up. I basically started bawling the second Ruby said "my...mother?" because I knew what Salem was doing and it broke my heart.
This begs the question though, how did Salem know Ruby was Summer's daughter? Did Summer make such an impression on her that she saw Ruby's face and immediately recognized her? Because I can't imagine Summer coming after Salem, politely introducing herself and then attacking.
