I was extremely excited to be able to photograph these absolutely beautiful siamangs in such a short distance, my mind was blown away...Siamang is the largest gibbon species, twice as large as the other gibbons. They are frugivorous, but also eat flowers, leaves and insects. They live in the rainforests and montane forests in Sumatra, the Malayan Peninsula and the southern tip of Thailand. It's a dream to see them in their natural habitat, and I was totally satisfied. (2 March 2023, West Sumatra).
