You know, I don’t think we talk enough about the fact that Quackity’s goal was to torture Dream into suicide.
Like, the literal objective of the torture was to make Dream’s existence so fucking ruinously miserable, so hellish, so impossibly traumatic, that he would decide that death and permanent limbo was preferable to living through this treatment any longer.
And that on day one of Sam’s imprisonment, Sam told Dream that a) yeah this was the explicit goal and b) Sam was looking forward to when it finally happened.
