In LFHTH Greg asks Garnet if he should be concerned about Steven going to Homeworld. Garnet responds, "Steven - will be fine." She pauses after Steven as if referring to him and no one else.

Meanwhile, White hasn't left Homeworld in aeons. When we see Homeworld, its broken, and the inside of it looks like it's made up of computer hardboard. When we see White, she is holding up her arms. Some people theorise that the reason she hasn't left Homeworld in such a long time is that she is using her powers to hold it together. But why? Why not let that planet fall apart? They clearly have many more under their control.

In the past it has been questioned how gems work at a technological level. Where is their power source? They seem to be immortal, but this makes no sense. They must get power from somewhere. We also know that they are non-organic life forms, and some believe the actual gemstones are more akin to computers than brains.

Is there a main computer sending power to the sub computers? (Sorry, I'm not a techie) What would happen if Homeworld fell apart? Would all gems die? Perhaps this is why White is still holding it together.
