Do NOT stay exercising in the pool for longer than half an hour. At least when you’re just starting to be more active. Just don’t.. the soreness hits you much later… and I somehow didn’t consider that.

Today was productive! I was able to return home and that in and of itself was nice. While the couch I was staying on was comfortable, nothing beats your own bed. Especially when you’re sore…

Each cross section I recorded was different. Sometimes the inside was brain matter, other times it was plant matter, and others metal. The scan itself ended up causing my computer to malfunction since nothing lined up between the slices. Not to mention even getting the limited scans I did was difficult due to the interference.

The interference being that- consistently through the process the electromagnetic field the glasses let off was abnormally strong.

As many labs do, I have a sensor for high and or fluctuating EMF levels. And it kept going off while the glasses were present. So after testing that instead, I found they had similar levels to that of a power-line. And while being near power lines does not harm a person, having a fluctuating field of this strength directly impacting one’s brain for prolonged periods of time like that would almost definitely have effects. Things like headaches, fatigue, and involuntary muscle movement are the most likely. This combined with the consciousness link the glasses and anon body have would most definitely cause extreme discomfort and headaches when attempting to remove them.

This also explains the side effects that come when a normal person uses anon glasses. The shock of your body going from having this pseudo connection with the glasses via the EMF to no longer having it would indeed produce “hangover” like symptoms that people like Ms Polina have described. It’s comparable to… sensory deprivation. Suddenly losing full aspects of your senses that your brain momentarily integrated into norm.

I’m quite curious if the way anon’s conscious is stored in those glasses of their’s is similar to the technology I’m using to form a mental link between me and ST-2? Neural activity patterns translated into code to control a separate body. Not to say an anon is a robot of course, but they certainly have a connection to technology in a way. And there’s no logical way for a brain sizable for an intelligent species could fit into a pair of glasses.

Surely the explanation is rooted more in magic than it is science but even so it is an interesting idea. I bet.. I could make synthetic anon glasses. Of sorts of course. I wouldn’t be able to mimic their world altering abilities, but I could certainly try to make a neural network in a pair of glasses.

I don’t know however what this would be useful for… Actually, it could provide a quick way to switch who is able to control a ST-2 model. If each person who used it had a separate “pair of glasses”, or in this case it’s more likely to be a chip, that connected to their consciousness swapping between them would be easier.

Not to mention it could assist in memory retention. The brain deteriorates but something like that wouldn’t. In theory, it would be able to continue gaining additional information while not losing past information.

To be honest, I didn’t do much research today. I was packing up my belongings when a young uma named Winning Ticket invited me to play in the snow with her and some of fellow students. It was fun! I brought my chair out but stood a bit while I worked on my snow uma. Which I did not do… very well… to be honest.
