content creator tag game ▸ colouring before vs. after

I was tagged by @suengwoo to show my coloring before and after. Thank you so much for thinking of me! I'm extremely new (it's been almost 3 months!) to making things so my coloring isn't great. lol. I'm so new that I don't even know how to just color part of a gif so I'm doing side by side. I always go into levels and curves, but then I kinda just play around with the sliders in selective color until I think they don't look like ghosts. I think I tend to make everyone too dark, it's probably subconscious because I truly hate the white wash so much that I overcompensate for it. I'm self conscious about my coloring but I know I'm still learning so I try not to be hard on myself. And when I eventually get better at it I can come back to this post and laugh at myself. lol

hi! no i haven't really talked about it that much hehe but i'm really loving that it's a whole new region to explore!! it really reminds me of how i was able to spend hours a day playing the game when i first started out <3 like it feels so long since i've done puzzles and shit lmaooo

i'm not super fond of the boat mechanics mostly bc i can't fucking steer that thing and it's kind of a pain switching between boat and land mode but i'm guessing they're kind of feeling out how we travel around in inazuma? (i wonder if we're getting our own boat there too)

i also appreciate all the lore/backstory they're putting into it through the conch shells and stuff and i find it such a shame this whole area is only temporary???? like i guess it fits the lore of the archipelago itself but it seems like a lot of effort to make an entire new map for it to only exist for 1 update... makes you wonder why they went that route
