“We’re slammed here, Neel,” Edward protested, struggling to hear over the din. “I’ve got patients out there who need me!” Even as he spoke, a lump formed in his stomach at the thought of the demon. “I might be able to convince the nurses to cover for me for...maybe an hour? But the drive home is too -- ”

“How much longer will those nurses have to cover for you if Darkiplier sends you back in an ambulance?” Google snapped, followed by an agitated hiss of his vents. “Will you be there?”

“I don’t know.”

I think it's true that Martin does feel every emotion very strongly, and that includes his attachment to his friends and loved ones!

Ehehe, I’m glad to hear it! Idk if it’s quite Papyrus-centric--I do my usual thing of switching the POV character every chapter or so, so it won’t always be from Papyrus’ perspective...

PAPYRUS

Like I mean they’re all pretty bad. I recently tried a neutral run where I killed Undyne ‘cause I was trying to build up to a Geno run and that was rough. Her neutral run death is absolutely heartbreaking and hard to go through ‘cause she still has her DT, but in the neutral run....she doesn’t transform. She just....she just slowly melts and dies as you give her the final blow over and over and over again. I legit nearly RESET after that ‘cause I felt so guilty.

But PAPYRUS OH MY GOD. I know I just talked about how horrible Undyne’s death is and like...how could Papyrus ever top that? And, quite frankly, in a neutral run? I don’t know. I don’t know because I haven’t been able to attempt Papyrus yet. I’ve killed Mettaton, I’ve killed Undyne, I’ve even killed Toriel. I cannot, for the life of me, kill Papyrus. I’m literally procrastinating on my next run ‘cause it’s the run I plan on killing him.

And it’s cause.... Papyrus is just... He’s not extremely naive (a lil sure but I think he’s less so than he let’s on), and while I don’t know if he remembers RESETS or not outside of the usual deja vu or know they are happening, he’s just... He’s so kind? And his philosophy and way of life is just... He wants to believe anyone can change, even if they’re a terrible person. To the point where he risks his life in the Geno run by not even FIGHTing you at all. Just SPARING. And god... everyone else. Everyone else you can die to. Even Toriel.

But Papyrus? I believe it’s impossible to be killed by him in-game. Correct me if I’m wrong. But I do know that, once you’re down to 1 HP, he ends the FIGHT immediately. 

He doesn’t want to kill anyone. He doesn’t even really want to capture you. He just wants friends and validation because -- as confident as he projects himself -- he does have all these insecurities and is lonely and either is blind to Undyne’s friendship or feels that her and Sans’ care and love for him are just not enough. 

Undyne? Legitimately wants you dead. Same with Mettaton. Asgore doesn’t want it but, despite his grief over it, will kill you anyways. Even destroying your SPARE button in the process. Toriel doesn’t want to kill you but she doesn’t make it easy for you to SPARE her either and trapping a kid in the RUINS with a stranger is kinda...yknow? She has no ill will and just wants to help you because she knows if she doesn’t you’ll die... But a child isn’t going to understand that.

And while beating you until an inch of your life really isn’t... I mean it’s not good by any stretch of the means in of itself. But it speaks volumes when he’s the only boss that like...won’t and can’t kill you. And after he even tries to help you as best as he can and as earnestly as he can. He’s like the most genuine character in the game, which is ironic considering he was potentially raised by one of the least genuine character in the game. 

(I love Sans, but I’m calling him out. The guy is like never completely honest. And when he is it’s either about Papyrus or he goes and obscures his honesty with lies or tricks. Like seriously, we all know he ain’t talking about an echo flower in that one convo. And I find it hard to believe that he’s “rootin’ for ya” right after threatening your life but also in neutral runs when you kill someone. Like he doesn’t even show up in his Hotland station if you kill Undyne, but he’s right in MTT resort ready to be pals? Ain’t buying it.)

Sorry, sidetracked.

But yeah, again Papyrus doesn’t even FIGHT you in Geno run. So like... yeah.

Basically, Gaz is captured by these aliens who steal the young of other species’, and Dib has to ask Zim for help back. Zim helps since he’s overprotective of his territory, the Earth, and like heck is he gonna let other aliens mess with his conquest.

They manage to get Gaz, and they’re almost off, when Zim (who since he’s defective, has strong instincts that tend to be weeded out), knows that there’s a Smeet on board. Zim threatens the aliens, really angry and pissed since he has parent instincts. They get the Smeet and get off, Dib and Gaz going their separate ways.

Zim is really, really protective, and ends up wanting to keep her so he debated calling the Tallest or not.

(I have two versions at this point - either she’s normal and perfectly healthy, or defective with a language downloading issue so Zim has to teach her Irken and English.)

He names her Klack.

Hello all, it’s @robinsdraw appreciation day! In honor of such a momentous occasion I would like to take this moment to thank all my favorite people on this site and tell y’all how much I love you!

So first off we have @robinsdraw , it is robins day after all. So to Robin I would like to thank you for all the work you put into the ALIP animatics as well as Downside. You are the one who helped me find Celery and my place in her garden. So thank you for all you have done for us and all you continue to do.

Next we have @residentanchor. I just sent you a message so I’ll try to keep it short. You have a lot on your plate. You have a stressful job, it hasn’t been that long since you moved, you have a life outside of the fandom you have to worry about, and you have us, your fans. Your fans that love and apoeverything you do and I know you work so hard to put out content for us and I appreciate you and all you do. I platonically love you!

Next is @ori-kunn. I’m still in awe that you went out of your way to message me. I was just fangirling over your content and you reached out to thank me. It blows my mind to this day. You were my first mutual that I didn’t already know IRL and that means so much to me! Dude you are the best and I love everything you do. You and @subtleshenanigans never fail to make me laugh. I met subtle through you, and while I still don’t know them all that well I love seeing the two of you interact. It never fails to brighten my day!

Oooo! Chase! Okay. Bear with me here on this.

1. He’s dedicated and stubborn. You can see how dedicated and stubborn he is to and about his job in his debut video. You can tell how dedicated he is to his children by how he talks about them. It’s detrimental to a fault: his stubbornness probably didn’t help in the marital problems, or this is how I interpret some of it anyways.

2. To offshoot the dedication, he’s probably loyal as well. If you’re friends with him chances are you’re friends for life and he’ll do anything for you. I mean, considering he’s running/ran the channel for Jack after he went into a coma that’s some loyalty. (I still kinda think it’s an Anti-possessed-Chase rn and no longer purely Chase, but that’s off-track oops.)

3. His Major Depression. Not to water him down to it, because there’s a lot to him, but it would be neglectful of me not to take it into account when writing him. Especially when it’s evident he doesn’t cope well with it in canon. (I still kinda wonder if he canonly goes to therapy.)

4. He can be a little immature. Sometimes it’s good: it helps him with his Youtube videos, and he’s pretty damn funny. It also colorizes his language (verbal and body): he overreacts in his videos, he likes making immature jokes, he honestly talks like an 19 year old skateboarder. But immaturity even if it’s only a little doesn’t just stop at one aspect of a person (which I say a little because Chase has matured since he as last seen). I’m sure there are times where it’s a detriment, personally I keep it in mind during arguments.
