Lonicera subspicata, or Southern Honeysuckle is a plant native to central California through the northern part of the Baja California Peninsula. It has small flowers in a classic honeysuckle shape which appear in spring through summer, producing yellow to red berries in late summer through fall. Though restricted to a relatively small geographic range, it is quite densely populated in the central part of its range.
