Is it no spaces between paragraphs? That’s my personal bugaboo.
oh, that’s the biggest one, but also...irregular spaces between paragraphs? irregular use of quotation marks (i.e. can’t settle on single quotes or double quotes for dialogue markers)? extra spaces between text and punctuation?
it’s just frustrating to realize that there are a lot of relatively small, insignificant things that’ll make me backbutton out of a fic even if I like the concept and have no reason to dislike the writing, based solely on finicky formatting stuff.

I’m guessing by “media” they mean “my parents.” That’s a good substitute for half the mentions of “the media” in posts like this.

I like them, but it’s definitely going to be a change for me. I’ve worn contact lenses daily for years and years, only really wearing my (old, and old prescription) glasses at home. But my eyes have been really killing me lately and I want to try to wear glasses more often, so I’m going to give these a try. And while $125 isn’t exactly cheap (I have a strong enough prescription that I need to pay extra for the thinner lenses) if these work out I can probably swing another pair in a different style and color in a few months so I can look a bit more stylish.
