I’m so excited to announce my latest sea slug- Stylocheilus striatus, a sea hare! This is one I saw in Hawaii (bottom photo is my own from a dive) and absolutely fell in love with. These creatures are so adorable and squishy and look like they are covered in algae. I just bought two beautiful green yarns from my favorite yarn store and thought they would be perfect for this sea hare.Â
The crochet sea hare on top is made with kid mohair and the sea hare below it is made with Japanese linen paper! You can find them here in my Etsy shop, ready to ship!Â
The lovely sea hare, Stylocheilus striatus! It blends in so well with the algae. I love these little guys and was so happy to find one. If you zoom in very close, you can see they have beautiful blue and gold ocelli.Â
