id be interested and id LOVE a video! i think youd be really good at putting one together and it might even draw in more viewers than a text post you know?

i’ve been meaning to do one on this subject for AGES because i think it’s just a much better way to spread information and it’d help get more eyes on the subject since really Nothing seems to be happening with it, and now that my gf is staying home a bit more to help me with the shop she should have time to help me edit it, i’m hoping that a lot of the content i do around here like trend guides/reviews/etc can start being all videos instead too here soon. :3

i’d definitely want to reach out to folks and see if there’s anything i’m missing that i need to mention though, and i’ll take the time to gather as much information as possible about their more recent stuff as well, including the fact that all of their tshirts are just stolen and traced memes now...literally the worst.

Anything would solidify the info you and others have put out there, more info is generally a good thing :)

i mean, the info is super solid i feel, with screenshots and lots of record keeping on my end in that original big post (which i just updated.) but i definitely would love to get any more info folks send me and include some reviews i find online as well.

post is updated now for sure! and since there is interest in a video i’ll start gathering more info and update the post while i’m writing the script as well, since i’d love to make the overall product a bit more refined.  i definitely think that that post is clear enough and has enough detail that folks can share it around....though it’s still not enough info for some folks, as you can see on my most recent comment on that blog post, lol.

I think a video would be very cool and it would combine words and visuals in a way that might make it easier to process? but also I know it's a huge amount of work

i think it’d be a lot easier for folks to swallow, and as long as i can get ali’s help i think it’s doable for me. video editing is just a huge difficult thing for me to process, but if i have someone doing all the chopping so i just am popping in images and effect type stuff then i think i can do it. 

also i can let my derision fuel me thru lmfaoooooo. i think it’s a good place to get my feet wet because it’s such structured material as well, and you know i’ve been wanting to make videos for approximately 5000000 years too.

i would also shop around a little because i got mine in a mouse combo for under a hundred bucks! you might be able to find the same one cheaper somewhere

I’ve been shopping around for sure, been humming and hawing about a variety of boards for a few weeks now. 

I, at one time, considered Logitech’s G810, because it was also full RGB and looked to be decently alright, and the huge price difference (it was, like, $120) made me forgive the fact that the keycaps weren’t standard, but I tried it at a store and didn’t like the way it typed (they use their own proprietary kind of switches, which are probably fantastic for gaming, but not good for typing IMO)

Also considered the Razer Chroma V2 because it was also on sale for pretty relatively cheap (~155 I think), but while I liked the feel of it and how bright the RGB was, I’ve been burned by Razer’s quality control before and the keys were just too loud for my roommates most likely (even though they themselves have very clicky gaming boards for their fighting games)

I also looked around at some smaller brands like Ducky, Cougar, Das Keyboard, etc., but either price or quality or lack of RGB got in the way. Things are pricey up here in Canadaland, and we don’t tend to get a lot of great deals up here, or a lot of cost-saving bundles.

YES i do ^^ behold my fire faerie gallery  it’s pretty sparse dfshjskd but i love it anyway.
