I've been on this ship since i first saw the video of Sam and Cait at the stables together, promoting Outlander. I thought immediately to myself: "those two are a couple!" I was also thrilled to finally learn through this same video, that one of my FAVORITE BOOK SERIES (a fantasy book series, as i thought of it then), was about to come to life. As many have said before me many times, i had been reading these books as they came out for YEARS. I'd start over with the first one every time a new one came out. the droughtlanders were loooong and tiresome in those days of 'book only' sublimation, and about the third reading of the 3rd book, i went onward. Hopefully to forget and be surprised by one or two new books down the road. Now... i KNOW i'm not a big tumblr name. i have a small amount of followers, and i don't DO anything to attract new ones, like making videos or doctoring pictures (appreciated), or blogging, or writing fanfiction (yet). I just enjoy other's talents by reblogging, agreeing with the posts that reflect my opinions, and posting those that pose good insight or questions. so my little voyage into 'OPINION LAND' might just fall flat. But i will feel better, so there's that. The last few weeks have been wonderful. Leading up to the tom~fuckery of the Met Gala tonight. (5/7/18) I'm gonna lead with the whole reason you are reading this rant; #THEYARETOGETHER. I don't care WHO he goes with to the Met, or even THAT he goes. I have one word on this .... C O N T R A C T S, BABY, C O N T R A C T S Sam, 'I THINK' will go back to what he loves after this. Stage, plays, and *maybe* movies. He's quiet and introverted for the most part; the kind of guy every girl dreams of, because he commits and makes YOU the center of his universe. Cait will continue to 'love' on Hollywood. She's a model, she thrives under the pressure of meet n greets, wine tastings, dinners, projects, auditions.... etc. CAN they make their relationship work? Yes, i think the past week or two has shown us their relationship in full. she is absorbing some of him (the marathon with her sister, healthy living), and he is contractually obligated to work her world until Outlander is over, thereby absorbing some of her world and her attitude. 'I' think they are perfect for each other. Can it fail? OF COURSE! CAN it work? OF COURSE! Sam has already had the last word on this, REMEMBER???? ALL you are seeing this week, is contractually obligated. Why else would the two of them constantly faun and 'Urban Dictionary' all over each other, if they had a different significant other? (that's right, no initials here). once or twice, yes, but not continually. Say or think what you will, but that's my two cents worth. I also won't be posting pictures of the Gala. yes, you are free to worship or not worship as you may; but the theme is a direct hit to those that DO worship, and without a way to get their time to express their feelings. CONTRACTS BABY CONTRACTS~~~*i'd put that lil vid Sam made a few weeks ago here, but someone needs to show me how* "yes, we ARE together, and we DO WORK together. things are pretty good, she's just really busy!"
