"Oh, fuck," Aiden groans, and pushes up his shirt to rub at his stomach with one hand. His belly gurgles audibly, and he belches, clapping the other hand over his mouth too late to stifle it. "Uuuuuurp... it hurts."
"You shouldn't have eaten so much," Melanie chides him gently, resting a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, you didn't have to go and make it a contest," Kellan agrees, shaking his head. "We already knew you could eat more than us."
"Yeah, yeah, rub it in, why don't you?" Aiden protests, giving Kellan a long-suffering look. "We paid good money for that! I didn't wanna see it go to waste."
"Silly," Mel says, and giggles. "We could have had leftovers. I'm sure it would have been fine tomorrow morning."
"Well, maybe you should've thought of that before I went and stuffed myself," Aiden complains. "Now I don't feel good, and we don't have breakfast for tomorrow."
"Are you gonna be sick?" Kellan asks, folding his arms. "You're looking a little green."
"No way!" Aiden says, gesturing with both hands. "Now that'd really be a waste!" As if as punctuation, he lets up another wet belch, and pales a little as he covers his mouth. "S-sorry."
"Kel, I think you'd better get the trash can," Melanie suggests, her brows knitting with worry as she pulls back Aiden's hair. "Just in case."
