does it happen to others too that when you sit to do an oral exam you get kinda jumpscared at seeing professors so close up because it's happened to me with every exam so far

i'm trying with every fiber of my being to concentrate for this exam but my head is so full of inspiration to draw and yet i know the moment this exam session passes, when i'll actually have time, i will have 0 ideas

downside of not having uni friends inside of your courses is i can't yap to anyone about roman history. how am i ever supposed to remember all this if no one's memorising with me

torn between studying (greek), "studying" (B1 french), STUDYING (That fckign. exam), and reading ew2 (🌈🌸)

why is it that i only function as: not studying at all/so focused i don't have a life

I hate translating Cicero because he makes sense in latin but it doesn't work the same way in italian grrrrrrr

my Latin professor is seriously eatinf my brain he sounds so deeply in love (and horny ngl ngl) with Lucretius when he reads and when he explains, it's doing things to me. I mean, Lucretius already is my favourite latin author but now he's making me ache and yearn for ink stains on paper. I need to be one with them. And it doesn't help at all that De rerum natura is also desperately Guido-coded. my two major literary blorbos, each munching on one hemisphere of my brain. each lesson has me doing a mental table-tennis match of correspondences between the two, and tbh I love the prospect of doing this for a whole semester. I love knowing that I have this professor for the whole year. I love that he managed to make me excited about studying fuckign. Cicero. in the second semester.
