we’re doin’ it! it’s back to school season and tbh like i still haven’t finished my summer hw or shopped or anything but what can ya do?... MAKE A CHECKLIST. i live for lists (they’re the only way i can function as a student), so here’s the list/timeline i’m keeping for back to school.

two weeks before your first day:

make a basic list of supplies (pens, paper, but no binders/notebooks) that u need

check where you are on your summer hw- make urself a schedule and stick to it! u don’t wanna be the kid without your hw

a week before your first day:

set up goals for urself

get your things organized (eg, organize your schedule, backpack, binders (if you have them and you know what you’re gonna do with them), ext.)

set up your planner/bujo for the first day

i like to have little syllabi sheets where i can copy down info about a class in my bujo

i also map out any major events (ACT bb) that I know are coming up and my study schedule for them

check on your extracurricular activities- what days are you gonna be super busy?

hang out with your friends before the year starts

night before

tbh if your school is like mine you won’t need all your stuff for your first day, just a pencil, a notebook and your hw binder

pack your lunch (healthy!) and make sure you have a water bottle for tomorrow

make sure you have any and all hw due on the first day of school (if ur not sure just bring it in- better safe than sorry)

go to bed at a healthy hour (aka maybe before midnight)

day of:

have a big breakfast! (it can be unhealthy tbh it’s the first day of school just make sure it’s like yummy and filling)

make an effort to be on time

have your water bottle on hand!!! seriously!! 

triple check that you have your hw, backpack, a pencil, your lunch (if u pack), and anything else that you know you’ll need
