Where language meets the field
Balancing Spanish, hockey and everyday life has taught me more than any classroom ever could. In the morning, Iβm practicing vocabulary and learning how to express myself in a new language; in the afternoon, Iβm on the hockey pitch pushing my limits. Both require discipline, patience and resilience. There are days when assignments pile up, my body feels exhausted from training and self-doubt tries to take over. But Iβve learned that growth happens in discomfort. Spanish reminds me to be consistent; hockey teaches me to stay strong under pressure and life forces me to manage my time wisely. Itβs not always easy to balance it all, but through planning, determination and believing in myself, Iβm learning that passion and responsibility can exist together β and that every struggle is shaping me into someone stronger.
