             Ciri feels the nice fabric of the dress she’s wearing, remembers when she could get something like this every day, when it was so normal she never thought twice about how non scratchy her fabric were, even the rougher ones from when she escaped the palace to go play with the children were soft. She’s still a bit unsure about this lady but there’s something about her, it almost reminds her of her grandmama, that sense that she could do anything she set her mind to, that armies would follow her if she just looked at them the right way.

Otherwise, Elijah would set his mind to retrieving her body from Klaus and waking her himself. Then, both would blame him. 

            The blade slid free with its usual ease; the motion was all too practiced, too familiar. It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not. Beck didn’t see him as what he was, she saw the other half that didn’t have anything to do with the real him. She didn’t see how caring, sweet, and devoted Joe was; and that’s on  h e r . And so he moved on, moved on to another location. new year, new me.

And so he saw her ( this mysterious woman) walking down the streets as if nothing could ever stop her. she has a pretense about herself, a little je ne sais quoi that captivates Joe’s attention.
