Mark and the rest of the teen team constantly getting jumpscared by Kent in the dark.

Kent appearing and acting so human 99% of the time that the people around her genuinely forget she’s alien.

Then she pulls horrifying shit like not breathing for a bit, or walking around in the dark, or the fact that Mark (and others) can’t squeeze her skin because it goes stiff and other very tiny physical differences she has. ((I have so many Kryptonian anatomy hcs))

It’s uncanny and reminds them that: No. Despite how human she might seem at times. Kent is not human.

Yes, there’s a heart visible in one of Kent’s curls, she’s very expressive

She loves Mark no matter how he looks, and feels slightly bad just how much she adores how he looks on a bad day.

But then again, don’t we all—

Kent runs hot. And Mark, while not prone to overheating like Jimmy or William are, can’t stand to even touch Kent during hotter days during the summer.

They’re usually intertwined in bed? Not any more, the most Mark can handle is maybe holding hands while he’s on the edge of the bed.

Kent (and Mark too) get kinda huffy cause. she wants to be close to Mark! It’s not her fault the weather is mid-high nineties with humidity!

Kent is soft and circular, Beatrice was very angular, and Mark is square/rectangular and sharp too, and Lois has those sharp ends,,, I have no other words other than pointing, stating the obvious, and saying “I LOVE THIS”

I can’t remember if I’ve put my ‘Superman eats rocks’ agenda into STS proper, but!

Kent ate rocks as a kid. Hell, she’d eat most things she could fit into her mouth.

And poor Ma and Pa would consistently have panic attacks when catching their little baby with something in her mouth who also proceeded to act like a dog and refuse to open it to let them see—

But, you’re so right. Cause I feel like Kent would absolutely panic if someone lobbed any kind of grenade, flashbang, tear gas, any kind of canister her way. And proceed to stick it immediately in her mouth.

(I feel like Rex would ask to experiment with it. If different intensities or different objects have different tastes… It would not take much for Kent to agree cause, it’s not lil it’ll hurt her??)

Mark is canonically pretty “short” for a guy, only being 5’11” but in all honesty, I don’t exactly want to give Kent a canon height.

Kent is Reader, and Reader is you, after all. Nickname used for answers/yapping aside.

In my mind, Kent ranges between 5’7” and 5’11”. But there’s nothing I like more than the image of Kent being around 6’2” and taller than Mark—

I definitely see kent helping others just out of the kindness of her heart,and her super hero team and mark constantly seeing her helping everyone and animals.

Maby Cecil could atleas warm up to Kent.

Trust, I’ve been stuck in my Superman/Invincible/STS brainrot for a year and it does not seem to be stopping any then soon—

But I love adding in the differences between how Kent and Mark operate as heroes! It’s been a while, but I believe one of the first things I wrote about Kent was her saving an animal (a cat?).

I write her as a hero that despite being extremely powerful, also helps the people.

Back when Mark first properly encountered Titan, he told him something along the lines of “Y’know, I’m a big picture hero? Like saving the world and stuff. Hey, maybe go find Fight Force!”

And you’ll never catch Kent dead saying that.
