Structured messages
Parts of a Structured Message Structured messages contain three parts in the following order: the sender's information about their message inside square brackets [ ], the sender's preferences for their message's reply inside round brackets ( ), and an equals sign = followed by the message content. You must show these pieces of information and preferences in the following order in all structured messages: - [Receiver's Name]: Name of the message's receiver or "all" if everyone is the message's receiver. - [Message Content]: A few words that state the message's content. - (Reply Content): A few words that state the preferred reply content. - (Reply Preference): Indication of the preference for a reply to the message. (+) means a reply is wanted, (x) means a reply is optional, and (-) means no reply is wanted. (Reply Type) is not required if (x) or (-) is used. Structured message example: [Tevvyline confusion] (+ explanation and clarifying question for me) = I don't understand your point. Conversation directors Structured communication list
