Ectosibling extraordinaire and personal bane of my existence.
He’s the iteration of Dave that I’m closest to and we talk relatively often, I suppose. He knows some personal information about me (which he then uses to manipulate me into situations that I would otherwise be able to dance serenely around).
I also have a good bit of dirt on him, so to speak and gave him an free of charge psychoanalysis session once.
It was incredibly exhilarating and insightful. He didn’t seem to enjoy the surgical precision and clinical mannerism with which I dissected his psyche, but that’s a fairly common thing if I’m to understand correctly.
In all seriousness though, I’m rather glad to have him and proud to call him my brother. He’s not bad as far as Striders go, even if he makes my life difficult. (And to be fair it’s for my own good, or at least what he thinks is my own good.)
I think I’ll keep him around for a little while. Not that I could get rid of him even if I wanted to.
I'm half expecting Dave to come over sporting balloons marked "It's a boy!"
