The flowers are sooo tall and everywhere! We love getting out in nature—it grounds me and I’m making more and more time for it. Unplugging to see the flowers and listen to the birds, crickets, seeing hawks and coyotes. Today was a toasty day for the doggies who proved that despite their fabulous winter conditioning hikes they just don’t do heat very well. In preparation, we got the ‘Jack Strap’ as Dan calls it. It will help us take this 14 year old Chihuahua on longer hikes. It doesn’t seem fair to leave him at home. And from the dramatic look on Camm’s face, he’s gonna need a Jack Strap too! 😂 Looks like we’ll be hiking earlier in the day from now on!
