`Ghoti Gorom' is a kind of Jhal Muri. However, the fried rice or muri is not used to make it. Here, only chanachur and boiling gram is mixed with some spices to make Ghoti Gorom Chanachur Makha Jhal Muri.
To keep the chanachu warm for a long time, a pot full of fire is placed on the chanachur; which is known locally as ‘ghoti’. This is why this street food is called Ghati Gorom.
We have already published several documentaries on Jhal Muri, Chanachur Makha, and Ghoti Gorom. Today, we are broadcasting a #Shorts documentary about another Ghoti Gorom from Chandrima Udyan next to the Parliament building in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
