!! Yessir!! (I’m making this answer public cause i gotta gush about the streampunks whenever i can)

it’s called Clear Skies on the QueueTimes twitch feed (also uploaded to youtube, but i think it’s always two weeks later, so the newest episodes are only on Twitch. you don’t have to subscribe to watch tho!). it’s GM’d by Eric Campbell, who does an AMAZING job GMing, he’s always so positive and his scenarios are cool and interesting and i’m #gmgoals

They’re on episode 11 right now I think? and there were two episodes of a one-shot that aired right as the quarantine hit (they were testing livestreaming over video conference), and each episode is about 3 hours long

I think it’s technically the sequel to Eric’s previous Star Trek Adventures game, Shield of Tomorrow (done at Geek and Sundry). I haven’t watched Shield of Tomorrow and they do make a few references to it, but I followed along easily enough without having seen it

(I feel it’s important to note that I’ve never seen a single episode of Star Trek. I watch this livestream because I love this cast and crew so much. following along when I don’t know what they’re talking about half the time has actually been SO fun though)

Going down the cast:

Sam de Leve (who I love) plays Captain Azeri Sull, who is a nonbinary... green person. I like the color green so i love them! they were trained in intelligence before becoming a starfleet officer, and it turns out to be important because ~drama~

Gina DeVivo plays EXEO, who is a sentient hologram!! it’s weird and cool and i love her!! she’s like... also the ship therapist? and she is VERY GOOD

Bonnie Gordon plays a cat!! she’s a doctor cat!! she has this rolling accent that sounds like a slight purr and Bonnie drinks catnip tea out of a cat mug each episode to ‘get into character’ and i would die for her. Her name is M’Qrell and she was a doctor in the Dominian War (idk what that means)

Revati Dhomse plays Jane Lakat who’s sole job is to tease the pilot constantly. I think she does science stuff when she’s not busy trying to goad their pilot into driving faster. she’s very smart and capable but also Does Not Give A Damn and will probably end up saving everyones lives by the end of this (oh and she’s like uhhhh a human-person but with faceplates or something? no ones human idk star trek races)

Xander Jeanneret plays Theq Lyndas, who is a blue guy with a line down his face! (Xander’s whole thing is Blue stuff so I’m not surprised he plays a blue dude) He’s an engineer who solves all the problems and adores food from every culture so much that he invented a way for EXEO to experience the sense of taste how cool is that?? he’s VERY EXCITED THAT THEIR SHIP HAS TWO WARP CORES

Aki plays Ambassador Olyn Madzhin-Nil, who is also nonbinary, and a member of some human-adjacent race that can sense peoples emotions?they use this skill to help out with some of the ~drama~. oh, and they have a service dog named Patience (and Aki makes PLENTY of puns about this)

Vrenn doesn’t cry.

He doesn’t cry when to his right, his friend is hit with a disruptor shot to her head, and for one terrifying moment, his eyes meet hers; before he can reach out, she is gone. He doesn’t cry when he presses the wound of another in a hopeless attempt to stop the bleeding and when the warm liquid trickles in-between his fingers he closes his eyes and hums.

He doesn’t cry even during the body-less funerals; a theatre of grief and fake condolences. He swallows bitter words and tries to honor the dead one last time.

He doesn’t even cry when they give him a medal.

But he feels something break softly when he pointedly doesn’t look at Lakat in the elevator. He takes a breath, but when the cold air enters his throat he almost chokes.

It doesn’t matter right now.
