The other day (April 4th) was World Rat Day, so please enjoy the cheeky little faces of some ratties I had a long time ago.
Peaches, Pixie, and Puzzle, were a mischief of sisters, and an absolute joy to have in my life.
Each one, though having the same parents, and being brought-up the same way, in the same enviroment, really did have their very own personality and I never tired of watching them, or interacting with them.
I have but two complaints about rats: they're way too prone to cancers, and that (even when 100% healthy) they just don't live long enough.
I wish they could be happy and healthy and in our lives forever (which, as most of you know, is my wish for all our animal companions).
