#stray thoughts

So, I was thinking up some stuff for the Billy is a god AU (I promised you guys I would continue that “blessings are answered” story, it’s coming, I promise) when I was reminded of the first credit scene of Fury Of The Gods that set up Billy joining the JSA.

I was reminded of the fact that Billy just grabbed his phone out of nowhere.

He just reached behind his back and magicked his phone out of nowhere, and I am pretty certain he didn’t pull it out of his ass. I also analyzed the suit and I have not seen any room for pockets in ether the suit or the cape.

So there is only one explanation: Pocket dimensions.

And it is not only Billy, in the beginning of the movie we are shown that Freddy uses his phone to listen to music on patrol, meaning he has to store it somewhere. Again, pocket dimensions.

So, now for the question, how does it work? And for the fun follow up, what is the limit?

Like, will everything that a person has in their pockets be stored in that pocket dimension? Or maybe everything a person has on them. Could Freddy just whip out his Crutch from the pocket dimension, even though it could not fit in a pocket?

Can things stay in the pocket dimension even if someone is detransformed. Or will everything be placed on a person when transforming back? If the first, then how much can be stored, and can you access it without transforming?

We also have to take into account that it is apparently possible to take things “with you” during the transformation. Freddy puts in his earbuds, puts on music, then transforms and his earbuds are still in his ears as he flies off.

Anyway, this was just a bit of a stray thought that I needed to get out, do with this information whatever you want.
