I thought this story would mostly just be found family fluff with maybe a background story of Marinette figuring out why the brothers are running away, but this chapter just came blasting everything up with superhero action, pre 3d concepts for the powers, and Butterfly Mafia, lol.

One of the best fics I’ve read still to this day!!) Anyways I kind of messed her face and hair up but I figured I’d post it anyways :P

I wanna post more art for the fics I read this year because I’m not great at other forms of feedback ;~; so we’re kicking it off with these!
The first is a watercolor painting that I did on some paper left over from a different project. I painted each individual paw print in white ink over the watercolor before going back over each with green ink, then going over the entire sweater again in the watercolor to fill in the gaps. It took a while but I really like how it came out.

wild things happening at my mum's where she's clearly decided i drink too much but instead of doing something normal like saying 'let's have an alcohol free drink tonight' she's asked her partner to make us all 'a special gin and tonic' which is very obviously 0% but without acknowledging it, and then bringing it to me and saying '[partner] has made a special drink for you to try'...... it's perfectly nice (i make drinks like this for myself at home too!) but harder to enjoy alongside the weird vibe where i feel like i'm 5 years old and need to be tricked into eating a food i don't like, or alternatively two steps away from an intervention

today my coping mechanism is writing a long post about all the art references in the dalice fic that probably no one is going to care about but I DO so it's a great and worthy endeavour
i wish i knew how not to get completely overwhelmed by online on a regular basis and also how not to feel like a worm when i vanish about it. if we're mutuals or have had good chats please know i think you're amazing and think of you often. i just sometimes open discord or look at my dashboard and see the volume of stuff and my brain stops working. it's bad!!!!! but ok. let's try to look at tumblr again. i love you!
saw il trovatore at the royal opera house last night, had a great time. during the curtain call one of the cast unfurled a palestinan flag in the background, brief tussle as someone off stage tried to take it from them, then they just stood with it while everyone got their applause and cheers. this being reported this morning as "chaos". a selection of intelligent commentary from twitter: "fucking up the evening" "childish stunt" "insidious". imagine being the kind of person who would consider your evening ruined by someone standing quietly with the flag of a people facing genocide, after the performance was finished. get fucked.
