Today was supposed to be about my refretted Musicmaster, but while I was out at @folkwaymusic to pick it up, the shop owner, Mark, showed me his incredible custom @riggioguitars lefty Stratocaster replica. I have owned at least 15 Strats in my life, many of them Custom Shop Relics and Closet Classics. This Riggio was as good as any of them...and better than many! The aging is subtle and extremely authentic... look at that gorgeous checking! And lightweight too... no more than 7 lbs. I told Mark that I would buy this guitar....even though it is a lefty...and string it right-handed reverse Hendrix style! And I almost never want to buy Stratocasters! This one was that good.
