This dude is a fucking trip
i smile and nod to everyone on my way home just to be nice. today i happened to have my phone out in my hand as i was listening to NPR with a radio app (my earbuds are in).
and this guy who was walking opposite to me began to talk to me and asked me “what are you going to when that technology fails”
i was like What? i removed my earbuds to make sure i heard him properly.

he stopped talking once i didnt say anything and maintained the confused and incredulous expression on my face.
he then sticks out his hand and says “my names ____. this just way another way to break the ice.”
i just shook his hand, nodded, and he walked away.
what a strange encounter.
To be honest i didn't really eat dinner at Denny's. I did drove to the place to see who's there and nobody i knew was there. There were only mutual friends of my friend who was suppose to go and i couldn't find her in there. I just stayed in the parking lot in my car for 20 minutes then head out to McDonalds and bought myself a mcchicken and sundae. Then drove to Big Lots/ Kmart to eat my dinner. Right when i grabbed my sandwich, this woman came by my truck who surprised me and asked me if i had any cash to buy her gas. She told me her story and that she's been there since 3am asking scary strangers for gas money! She's studying to be a dentist and have a job but doesn't get paid for the next 3-4 days.. I seriously didn't know how to reply to her at first because she was talking to fast. So i let her in my truck and chatted a bit and that she tells me that she's the sweetest girl who graduated the same high school as me 2 years ago. She even encountered this guy who said " Show me your boobs for $2".. She doesn't look like a rapist but actually pretty just so you know. But she was a smoker and i didn't like that. At the end i gave her all of my money which was only $10 and now i'm broke as hell again. what can i say, i do a lot of nice things to strangers.
when i was driving home, there was a toyota in front of me. it was a guy driving and his lights were off. and he was about to make a left turn while i was going straight. we ended up side by side at a red light, and he coincidentally turned to look in my direction. i had the urge to tell him his lights weren't on, so i did. he gratefully thanked me and we parted ways when the light turned green. i don't know, i just felt good about it. somehow i just know he was a nice person.
