Guarding her choices from my own fear takes more discipline.

I have spent enough of my life getting pulled into crown problems, prophecy problems, friendship problems, and ancient-magic-that-was-supposed-to-stay-buried problems.

At some point, a man has to draw a line in the road.

Friendship can save the world without putting me on the calendar.

Twilight and her friends are good ponies. I’m not saying they are bad. I’m saying good ponies ask questions, help people, investigate weird things, save the world, make friendship everyone else’s problem, and somehow end up standing in the middle of every crisis within walking distance.
