Life Update Time
There are a handful of people on here who I interact with routinely (or used to), and I wanted to take a second to give y'all an update on the shit show that has been my health and life the last few months.
Back in August I experienced what has since been diagnosed as a mixed episode due to untreated Bipolar 2. This lead to me leaving my job and a whole slew of other things. The biggest thing has been receiving treatment. Ive been tied up with doctor's appointments constantly since then.
The Bipolar 2 diagnosis was the tip of the iceberg. In blood work and other testing conducted since then, they've clocked Alpha Gal, confirmed Celiac Disease, and also noticed my thyroid completely checking out to the point it's totally tanked most of my hormone levels and caused my cortisol to get out of line badly.
Im still here. Im still kicking. Im in pain 24/7 and have went through like 4 crises since August due to my health, but Im alive.
Just for reference, the medical issues are now at a tally of:
Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
Celiac Disease
Alpha Gal
Degenerative Disc Disease
Bipolar 2
Hemiplegic Migraines
Chronic Lyme Disease
SEVEN. Seven diagnoses before the age of 30. π
Someone put me out of my misery.
Having bipolar 2 is wild because sometimes you brush everything under the rug and ignore your hyponania precursor symptoms because they're not that intrusive. But other times you sit in bed after going to bed 3 hours prior with your mind racing a million miles a minute convincing yourself to start a business or write a book or some shit.
It's 1155 PM here. Im exhausted. Like, Im aware I should be falling over asleep right now, but my head cant slow down long enough to rest and there's things I want to do and books to be read and music to listen to and im in this awful hellscape because not a single thought stays for long enough to see them to fruition.
But, like, Ive been so depressed here lately this is almost better. Ive been terrified of this happening after that mixed episode back in August, but honestly this doesnt feel bad. That felt horrible. Like, world ending, I almost committed suicide-type horrible. This is alright in comparison.
Ignore me. Im back on my Midnight Mass shit.

Song suggestions?
My husband and I are planning a vow renewal for our 10th anniversary next year. Im slowly building a playlist for dinner, but would love suggestions.
I'm a huge Hozier fan. He is more Sleep Token-coded. Nothing is off the table. If the music is solid, we will give it a go.
Comment your suggestions!
