"Release the Dragon"
A small comic that I have done a while ago. It's about the creative process and scopes that we have. And this is not only about art, but about our life.

@kingofthewilderwest I'm sorry, Stoick and who now?!
Ehehehehehe so back in 2016, I was streaming Undertale on my Twitch. And while I was talking with people in chat, we got into this idea about how Stoick from HTTYD and Toriel from UT had an interesting potential chemistry. Both individuals who had been caught in an unpleasant war, learned that fighting their enemy wasn’t the way, etc. - there was lots of stuff we talked about. And this uhhh... turned into at least one friend drawing Storiel, and another friend writing me a beautiful crossover fanfiction, and it was just. Good stuff I tell you!
I do have a Storiel tag on my video game sideblog bwahahahaha where you can see some of what... came out of this conversation that started silly but turned into “OKAY BUT THAT IS NOT A BAD MATCH!!!!”
do you think stan would immediately fall for and try to seduce toriel

New beginnings
While visiting my grandma in green Wales, I was looking for any signs of artistic life in her little town. What surprised me is that, Bangor, has a great prospering art centre, art & ceramic collections, a research archaeological team and yet ,no art history course at the University of Bangor. To be honest I was tempted to study in Wales, being closer to my family, go on a mountain walk from time to time, but the university course offer did not meet my expectations. Because of including to the town map a place like STORIEL, Bangor created new possibilities for itself, but because of lack of professional education within art at the University, they have not been fully explored. However it still brings art-centred audience, what can be said from my personal perspective and because of what I have learned during the Art in the City module last semester, what is being further developed by more and more Arabic Countries. (Louvre Abu Dhabi). As I found during my research, STORIEL, among with two other art galleries, Orielau Celf and Orielau Hanes pursue a Collector plan which encourages visitors to purchase contemporary artworks. The project covers educational and intellectual needs of art gallery' visitors and collectors, introduces them to a concept of modern patronage, encourages not to be afraid of modern art (a similar concept to the White Pube), but also it expends the art market. They create a new conscious art viewer and gradually a potential buyer for both already known and new art makers. Remaining approachable, it does not discriminate within more and less wealthy or does not invite only established art collectors. On the contrary, interest free loans are available from £50. I would say it prepare and rise an art gallery audience, who's aware of their needs. After all it is a place for the gallery visitor to feel comfortable in. That is why the Collector plan is fully based on the visitor's subjective needs, their interest, taste, the amount of money they want to spend. As I read from the brochure: "Own the art you love" or "Collector plan is an interest free credit service which can help you buy the object of your desire", mediating in such a way is a step taken in the dialogue between an art centre and a common visitor, which really pleases me because they determine themselves as an artistic community by staying interactive, using modern tools to show modern art, so the contemporary art scene is really much alive.
It gave me a lot of ideas for my upcoming exhibition review since there were three (three!) major exhibitions- Paul Davies: Welsh not, 1970+, Sain 50 and Button it up, all spreading awareness about local art, cultural identity, gender roles and representing them within their exhibition. My only problem is which one to pick!

"Who are you?" He will ask. And I should reply, "I'm the Legate of the Frontier. The new commander." And he could say, "Of which province?" "The Third Imperial Province–the one we are loyal to." I could say. "Did our emperor appoint you? Does he know of the battles beyond us? How they approach the frontier with great force?" He could say, but he won't. But I could reply, "The Third Emperor himself will arrive in person this very week. With a third of all his legions, he will arrive with overwhelming force–to crush our supposed foe and defend our great Emprate!"

The more I think about it, the more I feel like Storiel (Stoick x Toriel) really does work. It actually would have chemistry and it would be cute!
For starters, Stoick and Asgore aren’t radically different individuals. If Toriel has a type - say, a big, burly, hairy warrior man with a squishy heart - then Stoick could be of interest to her. And if Stoick can get attracted to one woman who thinks radically differently from what her leader believes, then Stoick could get attracted to another woman who stands up for what she believes in, even if that opinion is unpopular.
But more importantly, Stoick and Toriel could relate to one another.
Both of these individuals know what it is like to lose a spouse. They are both single, technically. As far as Stoick knows, Valka is dead. Toriel separated from Asgore - and could potentially have been separated from him for over a century. They would understand the heartache of butting heads with their old spouse over something as important as a war. Stoick and Valka had contrary opinions about how to fight dragons, and no one’s telling me that didn’t lead to heated disputes. Toriel became so indignant with Asgore’s choice on the war that she left him. And so, feeling loneliness over days past, Stoick and Toriel would be able to relate.
We could also talk, sadly, about the fact that they both have experienced death of family through their respective wars. Stoick lost his wife. Toriel lost her two children, Asriel and Chara. They could understand the pain of the deaths and how that hole is never refilled.
Stoick and Toriel would both understand how hard it is to make choices in a war. They’re both living in a war that has extended for over a hundred years. They’re both the leaders, and both would have had to make challenging decisions. They would understanding fearing another species, fearing for their survival, fearing if they would ever make it to the end.
But they would also... know what it is like to befriend their enemy.
If we take Stoick a year after the events of the first HTTYD movie, he would be in a position where he is ruling a civilization that once fought dragons... but now loves them as pets. He would be riding his own dragon, Thornado, who he loves dearly. Stoick has learned that killing and slaughtering does not necessarily lead to the solution. He would have seen the power of peace and befriending the beasts now.
Toriel, meanwhile, has no desire for humans to be killed. That’s why she left Asgore, after all. Instead of harming humans, she wishes to mother them.
They both have come to love and care for the species that once was their enemy.
I also feel like both being parents would mean something to them. Toriel not only raised Asriel and Chara, but she has tried to take on the humans she has met in the Ruins. She looks after Frisk, a child who goes off adventuring into areas she would rather they not go. Stoick has a son who charges off into danger, too... Hiccup. They have both tried to care for children as a single parent.
Oh my oh my these two relate in a lot of areas.
I also just think personality would work. Stoick might be a bit fierce and gruff at times, but he can also be so tender, so kind, so gentle, so protective. He can smile and laugh over little things. Toriel is good-natured, thoughtful, loving, caring, and protective, too. She would make a good support through him, both in the ways they are similar, and in how they are different.
It just... ahhhh... it really does work.
It might be cross-fandom, but STORIEL WORKS AND I DO THINK I SORT OF SHIP IT.
