The actions of the current administration in this 11 minute interview shows how sociopathic they truly are. They slam people with question after question, demanding answers without giving space for a response.
This is standard MO to create confusion and frustration.
The interview with Zelensky on FOX was also quite telling. FOX attempted to get Zelensky to say he owed Trump an apology, because Zelensky caused the scene.
News flash - he didn't. Vance and Trump riffed off one another and blocked any chance of Zelensky talking.
I lived this for years, with 2 ex-husbands. The repeated interruptions, the stopping of any responses within 1-2 words, talking over the other person. It's bullying tactics, causing heightened stress, anger, and frustration. That way, when you lose YOUR temper finally, they can say you lost it.
If you don't understand what's happening, you end up apologizing to *them* for being frustrated at them for *their* actions - and they don't apologize ever.
Zelensky is smart, and cool under pressure. You can see him weighing every word carefully, every tone carefully. He's a tactician.
He tried to engage in a conversation with two people who wanted nothing more than to dominate the room and show how much more powerful they were.
When Zelensky refused to take the bait, they got pissed and stomped around like 3 year olds, yelling, interrupting him, and refusing to let hims answer.
I know there's going to be people who say "Oh, that's Trump and Vance showing how alpha male they are. If Zelensky was *truly* an alpha male, he'd have been able to get in there and talk."
No. He recognized he was a guest at the table, and tried waiting his turn to talk, politely.
That's where T/V supporters get it wrong. You get invited to someone's home, to partake in a meeting/meal/whatever. It's not YOUR home. You don't throw tantrums, you don't interrupt, you don't demand.
Zelensky acted exactly right in this situation, recognizing where he was and what he was doing.
