9th January 2020:
Today we had another stop animation workshop, in this class we were taught by Tine Kluth. She had previously worked on Shaun the Sheep. She helped us understand how to make stop motion look realistic and the lengths she would have to go through to perfect a specific shot.
For this task we had to work in groups of 4, and we each had to animate different parts of the sitting up and walking. For this project I had to animate the walk cycle for the puppet on the right. Considering this is my first time doing stop-animation I think the movement looked believable and realistic, though I could have added more movement in the arms. It was hard to do this as my puppet needed to be tightened and I couldn’t find the key to do so.
