i can't think of a dropout regular i'm more conflicted about than hannah pilkes: i didn't find her particularly funny or interesting on make some noise, but then on dirty laundry she came off as a super cool and interesting person and her comedy just HIT in that setting. wondering if msn was just a bad introduction.
caitlin reilly was kind of the same way on msn although i found stop (vip) hilarious. so was cameron lodgson - his scripted comedy is wonderful, but he really fell flat compared to an experienced improviser (josh ruben). maybe make some noise is just not a show for people who primarily do social media comedy.
I think a lot of Dropout's issues with certain episodes falling flat is found with how they'll cast improvisors in shows that aren't their specialty, especially when it comes to game changer spinoffs. The soft pilot game changer episode will usually have 3-4 people who fit the gimmick perfectly, but when the show rolls around, not always, but often times the seasons of the actual show will have cast that don't fit the idea as much to less success.
