Did you know that over a half a million people are homeless? This might sound weird, but the power outage fucked me up. In a really deep way. I had no power, no heat, no food, basically for 3 days. All cold water. Laying awake freezing, not being able to sleep. We finally got our power, but how many people are out there tonight, at fucking thirteen degree temps, even cats and dogs, that don't have homes? That are so cold they can't sleep? I highly recommend the film #StonePillow starring my love #LucilleBall to each and every one of you. Tonight, I wept at the gratitude of a warm shower and a comfy bed. I also wept for those who don't have that. Please understand #homelessness is a serious thing that could actually completely be fixed but that's another discussion for another time. I won't even get into the fact that I'm on my period and bleeding while freezing and no food and can't sleep... horrible. Gratitude is the name of the game tonight. Realize how blessed you all are. Someone is out there now praying and crying and begging the skies for what you have now and take for granted. ❤
