☀⇝ The steady patter of rain upon the rooftops was constant as a lone boy ran through the mist. The neighborhood he found himself in was silent. One of those rich parts of town, friendly enough, even complimented with a neighborhood watch. Except no sound seemed to stir from the grounds as the teen made his way down the empty suburban area. Surely someone had to see this kid..this hooligan running about. Right?
Absolutely not
Sora sped across the all familiar grass. His path was calculated within his mind, having done it so many times already. Every step was precise and memorized as he scaled a tree nearby the side of the house. His balance wavered once atop the branch yet evened out as he slowly made his way to the edge. He took a deep breath as he jumped from the branch on to the roof.
Drenched to the bone, the boy found refugee under the small jut from one of the many gables above. He stayed close to the panes until reaching the lone window located nearby. The boy's hand reached up, tracing a small pattern on the cool glass before he lightly tapped the glass.
Knock
Knock
Knock
It wasn't just a simple few taps. No. These knocks were a pattern. A small warning, stating one simple word: incoming. It had been used ever since Sora found himself outside this house years prior. The three beats upon the window's spanse, all in specific places, alerted the figure inside of the soon intrusion.
The teen pushed the glass, raising it ever so slightly before he was able to lift it up enough for his lithe figure to fit within.
It was always unlocked
His body seemed to topple over into a tuck and roll as he face planted upon the small single sofa placed strategically under the room. His limbs uncurled from underneath him as he huffed, sitting up and looking around the room as his eyes adjusted. The only single glow allowing him sight coming from the large expanse of an aquarium fitted into the adjoining walls around him. He stayed silent, awaiting a reply he knew was bound to come sooner or later.
Considering Sora hadn't been too quiet at all upon his smooth entrance, he suspected it to come in a moment or so.
