how does Stoat hold up as a Discord alternative? I'd like to make private channels accessible to specific roles in a server but I'm not sure I'm doing it right. wish there was a way to preview a server as a role.
has anyone on stoat.chat been able to get "masquerade" working (with lazycat2's plugin)?? its literally the last thing i need to set up my personal server and i feel like a Fool

Holy actual shit, I just tried uploading multiple images to Stoat at once, and this is SO much better, even if there are rounded corners. The images queue up and you can't upload too many in one message, but they appear single-file in one column and if you have too many, it'll just let you easily unload them into the server one group at a time over the course of automatically compartmentalized messages. Seriously, try uploading more than ten images to a Stoat server at once, you'll be amazed.
