The Wizard of Oz but the flying monkeys are pygmy marmosets with hummingbird wings and they swarm like bees
no joke I am bitter about how Level-5 has been handling Yokai Watch and honestly... a good number of their other beloved IPs so McKraken getting a crumb of appreciation in a gacha game like Yokai Watch Puni Puni is just surreal. like.
when the biggest thing for the 10th anniversary of the release of the first game of the series... is this. it's a bit sad.
but c'mon it's squid man in a cool fit. he got the drip. he really is the most stylish yokai in the entire Yokai World!
wow. birthday
edit: thank you all for your birthday wishes, I don't have the energy to respond to each separately but I appreciate all of you <3

some lore I came up with for the giants in Lush&Flora:
they turn to stone upon death. they probably have mineral-rich diets haha also they probably have health issues such as stiff joints, skin that turns rock-like, among other things
they basically slowly turn to stone from the inside out, is what I imagine is happening. their petrified corpses can have multiple uses. they don't really have the culture of burying their dead like humans do, they don't degrade the same way as organic matter does. I imagine super old giant bodies are worn down by elements and become unrecognizable in time imagining there are layers to the composition and the deeper you go the "softer" and more crumbly it is, akin to minerals like gypsum, one could basically hollow the body out and turn it into a macabre dwelling, haha.
whee! fun!
