they spent almost 3 years on trill undergoing extensive therapies to learn how to live with six new identities and almost 300 years of new memories, but rejoined starfleet soon after.

they had been known at the academy for their brash and competitive nature, and much of that began to reemerge during their commission as chief tactical officer, and soon after first officer of the sovereign-class starship uss hood. despite this, they managed to make it to captain in just over five years.

still, they often struggle with anxiety and dysphoria, despite their attempts to bury it under cool confidence and zeal. if anything, this amplifies their hotblooded nature to the point of defensiveness if theyre confronted about it.
