@stltoday immense love to the legendary @kevincjohnson for talking to me about my new situation. It’s still early and the details are sparse. Everyday the landscape changes but we’re committed to bringing y’all the best music I can make. I feel like my work ethic is unprecedented and really does speak for itself. Sometimes I’m in three different cities at once. When we started the Black Julian series I made a promise to myself . I wouldn’t stop until the right people noticed. After getting phone calls and emails from more than a few labels over the course of the last couple of months— I’m rocking with Brian Delaney and Rosie Lopez because I feel like they understand me and seek to maximize my talents. I went with a independent because they’re willing to grow with me. We wanted to work with them specifically because they’ve traditionally took huge gambles with artists that aren’t safe. I started a movement with my music and it’s growing daily. Everyday I wake up and dedicate all that’s in me to this art form. Thank you 🙏🏿 stay tuned! #STLien for life!
