Yeah see this is what I’m trying to think too, although irrational brain is irrational. I get this feeling most years, to be honest, but this year I’m trying to give myself more leeway as, ya know, global pandemic (amongst... other things).

I haven’t written anything more about the duke and the maid, or even another story set in the same world, and I don’t often write in second person like that, but you can check out some of my other bits of writing on Tumblr here (though I haven’t updated it in a while…I should get on that).

the Queen’s Consort

Cal is the third child of a minor noble who makes his living as a healer. He doesn’t much care for “city nobles,” but when a mysterious woman needs him to marry her so she can claim her inheritance, he gets thrown into the political deep end. Though angry at her half-truths and manipulation, he can’t deny there are sparks flying. Only, with the beginning of a war, there’s more than his pride, or even his happiness, at stake here…

An encounter with a Fae turns into an offer that will give her the ability to follow her dreams, but could mean the loss of everything important to her if she can’t complete the task the Fae sets her…

Not sure if any of those’ll scratch the same kind of itch as the duke and maid story did, but they’re there if you want :)

oh my god college halloween party trixie is such a concept that i’m so here for thank you for bringing this into my life

like, think about the start of trixie’s junior year, before they’re together but katya is fully done for by that point, and trixie shows up to the halloween party adore is throwing in that pink cheetah print cat suit (you know the one) and katya just… refuses to touch her in any context all night because she can’t handle it. 

okay this is one question i’m not gonna answer for reasons like i don’t wanna get your hopes up bc i haven’t been able to write a single word of anything in a While but i wanna write a “many years down the line” epilogue Eventually and the issue of to marriage or not to marriage would be covered in that ! if i knew how to fuckin’ write !
