The Key.
The damp air lent me tears as the wind hit my face
the cold crashing of the waves told the sky stories of my imperfections
the imaginary warmth of ice cold rain calmed me
as the thunder drenched my soul in sorrow
 I found the key under a moss covered stone
rusted and well loved
engraved with words of false hope
the easy way out
was never simple
 the place you seek
is not far
spoke the key
follow your heart and you’ll be set free
into the ocean - stillness awaits
eternal simplicity
open the door to your wildest dreams
let yourself fall
leave your life for me.
