just remembered this catalog existed. Or did. Probably where I got most of my fashion inspiration growing up. comfy, functional, girly but also boyish. androgynous. mismatched patterns, color blocking with a whimsy, balancing moods. I liked punk and later industrial aesthetic, but on other people. just wasn’t “me.” I just admired it from a far.

funny thing is, we never ordered from the catalog. didn’t need to really, I wore a school uniform from age 3 to 18. but when I was on my own, I guess this is how I dressed. still do to some degree except it’s more random and just whatever. I used to wear nice stuff to work but on the weekends be back in green cargos and a black tank or something. it was usually baggy on bottom and tailored on top. like Kim Possible.
