“I mean fire, inside,“ says Lithuania.  "Civilised.  There must have been a time that was incredible, before it became a chore, and I can’t remember the moment of change.”

“Memory’s funny like that,” Poland offers.

“I must have set the fires in Russia’s house thousands of times.”

“Ugh, same,” Poland groans, “at Austria’s.  Well, hundreds, anyway.  I slept in a lot.”

“The most restful form of resistance!” declares Lithuania, who can’t imagine daring to sleep late whilst living at Russia’s house, ever.

“I know right?  John and Yoko got nothing on me.”  

Lithuania chuckles.  

Poland looks at him and chews his lip a second. “But you did, uh.  Set a bigger fire that one time, didn’t you?  You burned down the whole place.”

Characters/pairing: Poland, Lithuania (LietPol), brief mention of Russia and others Words: 3123 Summary: Poland and Lithuania celebrate Christmas Eve together, Poland goes a bit mad with the decorations, and no one sets anything on fire–this year.

(Which is to say: mostly soft gentle fluff as the two of them gently feel their way back into a relationship in the mid-2000s, but stay up all night talking about various things in the past which veer a little darker tonally, given that one of my prompts was “FIRE” :D)

Lithuania

3 (favourite drink(cold)): Ice Coffee (black), Gira/Kvass, Beer

5 (nervous): He’s probably anxiety/nervous personified... He worries about a lot of things so it stresses him out. Even things that are a bit silly to be stressed about bother him and it makes him more stressed. It’s probably more worry than anxiety that makes him nervous but usually nervous unless he’s with people who actually make him feel comfortable.

15 (security): Poland is one of those who he feels super secure around. He lost that/had it taken away from him during the 1900s but could rely on Latvia and Estonia to help him during that time. (as far as Core/Best friends, those people that see his true self and emotions). Basketball, obviously, means a lot to him as in a way it helped give people some kind of identity outside of being under Soviet Rule. Gardening and nature but he will struggle if it starts to get too quiet and peaceful. He’s used to chaos and feels empty when there isn’t some noise or something going on. He feels secure when he’s doing something so times like waiting in silence freaks him out. He longs for the times he could enjoy peaceful silence.

Estonia

3 (favourite drink (cold)): Beer, coffee drinks

5 (nervous): He is but he doesn’t show it and he’s calmed down since gaining independence. He keeps himself busy but he’s become a much more confident and happy person so he’s not terribly nervous. He’s pretty chill. He has genuine confidence.

2. Hot drinks: I feel like he’d drink coffee the most often (gotta get that caffeine somehow) tho he actually prefers a nice cup of hot tea. He drinks it whenever he has a day off or when he wants something to help calm him down a bit

4. Best time of the day: Morning to early afternoon. He likes getting an early start to the day and loves watching the sun rise

6. Animals, pets: He Loves animals, and will adopt basically any of them in need if he can. That being said, he has a special place in his heart for dogs. Whenever one of them dies, he has to take a week off from work because it hits him so hard that he can barely function

2. Their emotional/moral weak spotsi guess emotionally he’s still a bit better about the whole austrian empire being dismantled at the end of wwi thing

XD! Yeah, really! It’s like her songs are just tailored to the pairing (esp. if you think about nyo!lietpol… her entire “Dreaming Through the Noise” album just reads like a sad love story between two ladies)

Someday I’ll get all my Vienna Teng x Lietpol thoughts in order… someday…!

Thank you!! <3 I did! I had a wonderful lunch with my dad and we were there for about 2-3 hours, just chatting and catching up. ;u;

I haven’t played/heard any of the game and I now want to, heh :D deep/husky women’s voices are beautiful!
