I think SNL was, rather than being a DTR convo like I previously thought, was maybe their "oh fuck I don't think I can live without you anymore" moment. Like think about it. Before then, they were meeting up when their schedules allowed. But that was the first time one of them scheduled their entire existence around the other just because "he had to be there for him". That's not just boyfriend shit, you know? That's life partner shit. And since then they've been sneaking off to see each other more and more and their entire schedules are as if working in tandem.

Oh! And I think SNL was also when they decided to abandon the Hardline Separation they'd previously agreed to because it was too hard for them. And you could see on their faces that they just wanted to be together without sooooo many asterisks.

i think the key to enjoying this pairing is thinking that longshot and dazzler are serving lesbian realness. unfortunately many people have not considered this (probably because the 90s x men art introduced a level of sexual dimorphism in comic book characters previously only seen in elephant seals)

going abroad is hard and it really felt like belly is going through it all, only the few clips of the trailer. she also looks so happy and sparkly and pretty, she has made friends and seems to be enjoying her time out there so much! and corinna brown is in it!! i am SO excited to see her and see her character and belly become friends!! and taylor will come visit for new year’s and i’m extremely excited for that part!! laurel finding out she actually went to paris will be something and i’m so ready for it! we also now know that conrad will send letters and we’ll switch back to his voice over for a little, and i gotta be honest, i didn’t even hear it the first time watching because i was too excited about a letter arriving already lol. just knowing that at least one letter will arrive calms me down SO much, i’m unable to react properly i guess?? i don’t even know how to react because it’s too much to process!!

the first thing i noticed though is the song! anything could happen by ellie goulding playing just threw me off completely, knocked me out, my brain didn’t function properly for a few seconds being so focused on the song because of the new girl scene where it plays!! i’ll get more into that sometime, but the song is perfect! really anything can happen, anything bad or good, it’s just gonna happen and you take from it what you want. anything can happen, anything you want to happen. you can make anything happen.
