STIGMATOPHILE: (n) a person who loves tattoos, piercings.

I am not a tattoo artist’s ideal palette. My skin is not smooth, and it is freckly. Well, it has freckles. And—never mind, that’s definitely a zit. “Could be worse,” I say, and plan just the same. I have notebooks of ideas. I would one day like to be covered in tattoos, swirls of color filling out my garden. People with one or two are nice, but people with them head to toe have conviction—or at least courage. That’s what it seems like, anyway. I try to save money, but money is hard to come by, these days. I could go to the other side of the shop, to the piercer’s. I have three piercings. My skin is not a piercer’s best display, either. My skin is sensitive. Titanium or no deal. Not even gold is good enough for my skin. I can’t make up my mind on piercings, either.
