I can't explain exactly why I have such a keen adoration for the people of Northern Uganda, but I do. I assume it has something to do with Invisible Children being the first NGO I came into contact with, thus spurring my passionate fascination for the history, culture and lifestyle of these people. For over two decades, Northern Ugandans have endured and suffered through devastating amounts of destruction in their lifetime, but to see such strength and determination powering their smiling faces is a huge inspiration. I'm guilty of not being a very avid contributor to charities, but my family and I have recently decided to sponsor a family/child overseas. I'm so excited about doing so, and I encourage the rest of you to do the same :)
