Omg Chelsy's blog post was a wealth of Maxwell updates!! I'll have to make a point to check hers like I used to do with Titus2.

First, loooove Mary's dress!! Sleeveless AND backless get it queen, easily the best Maxwell dress I've ever seen.

Second, a few pregnancy updates: Anna Marie (Anna #2 I think) and Anna #4 (or maybe 5?). The newest Anna has been married a couple of years already, and this looks like her first so that's surprising.

I wonder how Anna Marie's cancer is going and if it's still in remission. She looks good!

Bonus Sarah update!:

This post just reinforces how sad I am for the Maxwell kidults and grandchildren. The theme is basically “The enemy of learning is entertainment.” Steve goes on and on about how his sons are able to purchase homes and renovate them before getting married (and his girls can even help too!) because he didn’t allow them to waste time with entertainment. 

I also feel bad for any children of this commenter Alice. Children are supposed to run carefree lives. You can learn as a child and still be allowed to play and have fun. 

Steve then did a follow-up post in response to a comment asking how you balance work/learning and periods of rest and fellowship, where he acknowledged that the Bible says you need to rest but then didn’t say his family rested. It would have been so easy to say that they encourage times that build the family, such as Teri’s weekly story time with the grandchildren or the fact that they have a little park playset in their backyard. But no, life should be all work and no play according to the great Stevehovah.
