A dupla de designers Marcelo Ertorteguy e Sara Valente, do Stereotank, imaginou como seria a interseção entre música e skate, na prática, criando o Lap Skate Guitar.
Tendo como base um skate liso de madeira, o duo acrescentou tarraxas, tensor, trastes, captadores, botão de volume, ponte e entrada jack. A guitarra elétrica funciona normalmente, produzindo sons como o de uma guitarra havaiana, com qualidade semelhante.

DrumReef42 by ComboColab and Stereotank at Pier 42 on the East River waterfront as part of Paths to Pier 42, which brings art, design, and educational installations created in collaboration with neighborhood residents, and a series of public events to the Lower East Side Waterfront. The project builds on neighborhood advocacy to create more accessible green, open space on the waterfront, by increasing access and creating public uses of Pier 42 while it awaits permanent transformation over the next several years.

Very cool concept - the Little Free Library, via designboom:
The Architectural League of New York has partnered with Pen World Voices Festival to bring the little free library to downtown. Stereotank, founded by Venezuelan architects Marcelo Ertorteguy and Sara Valente, designed the installation at St. Patrick’s old cathedral school in Nolita.
Built out of an inversed plastic tank and a wooden frame, the concept creates an ‘inhabitable’ environment, where users can immerse themselves into the space, taking the time to browse through books and borrow or exchange them.
